La Grande Dame 2006 is an exclusive blend of eight classic Grands Crus: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for the Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir wines are fruity and full-bodied; the Chardonnay wines are of considerable distinction. Light gold color. Complex nose, revealing turn of stone fruit fragrances, dried fruits, pastry discreet touch, gingerbread, mocha. The mouth marries vinosity precision and freshness. Nice length.
