The 2009 vintage in Champagne was particularly great vintage and this is aged wine of the highest quality. Made from 53% Pinot Meunier and 47% Chardonnay, all from Premier Cru and Grand Cru Vineyards. Bright, aromatic and chalky with poached pear and rich lemon and summer fruits. A good streak of acidic freshness with pleasing complex fruit on the finish.
