The Silvaner is one of the oldest white grape varieties and traditionally has a high distribution and importance in Franconia. The local wine from Würzburg is strong, with a taste reminiscent of pears and local pome fruit. Description: Clear, youthful, delicately nutty-yeasty pomaceous fruit scent with nuances of melon. Elegantly juicy, polished, rather cool fruit, very elegant , lively acidity,  yeasty nuances, delicate vegetal and floral notes, good persistence and substance, mineral traces, delicate handle, has life, good to very good, elegantly juicy,  again rather cool finish. Recommendation: The Silvaner is considered the all-rounder for almost every occasion. It goes well with strong, regional Franconian cuisine, but also with fish dishes or as an aperitif.
