The wine is deep and shimmering red with a purple hue. The fresh, intense and fruity nose reveals aromas of black currant fruits, especially blackberries and black plums, as well as spicy notes of black pepper, rosemary and cloves. This together with subtle notes of coffee and vanilla that come from the aging in wood. The taste is smooth and it is supported by smooth and soft tannins of black currant. The fruit flavors in the nose are reflected in the taste in addition to notes of various herbs. Good acidity on the long and lingering finish enhances the overall impression of freshness.
