Medium garnet-purple in color, it has an earthy nose with dried herbs and garrigue notes over a core of red currants and blackberries plus a touch of cedar chest. The medium-bodied palate is fine and fresh with juicy red and black fruits and a chewy finish, neat, and forward with very fine tannins. It is well-made, tasty, with a lot of aromas.
