Description:

Superb Dominican rum from Opthimus. This expression was drawn from a solera and treated to a finishing period in malt whisky casks, imparting a fabulous biscuity, oaken character. A smooth sipper neat, and nice and bold for cocktails too. Tasting Note: Dried fruits with brown sugar and fresh banana are followed by woody spice, a touch of leather, vanilla, and a dusting of chocolate, with hints of malty oak and pepper on the finish.
